When 90% of us failed, it isn’t that we didn’t try, it’s just you are a terrible teacher.
Dear Students,
Yes, there are terrible teachers, but there are also terrible students. I had probably a dozen students fail one of my classes this semester/quarter, and for the most part, I didn’t see all that much effort on their part. I am more than happy to help if I see you trying and struggling, but instead, I saw them talking constantly during class. They didn’t take notes. They didn’t turn in their assignments on time. When I gave them packets of missing work (twice) they didn’t do them. They didn’t stay for after school tutoring. I’m not going to pretend that I’m a perfect teacher; I know I’m not. But seriously, if you fail my class, it’s probably mostly your fault.
So, yeah…
